Principals

All of our rescue techniques come down to principals. We don’t show you the one, best way. We show you various techniques that exploit the right principal. There is always new and improved methods, but the principal is steady. We will show you different gear and different TTPs that will help you make the right decision based on your current environment.

PACE

Everything should have a PACE. Primary-Alternate-Contingency-Emergency. Whether its ropes, medicine, food storage, or navigation- always have a multi-layer plan. The kits that we use and train with were designed with this specific purpose in mind.

Progression

Rescue in particular has had a stigma associated with it for far too long. The courses offered herein are a direct culmination of area experts in their fields from various disciplines. Canyoneering, climbing, alpinism, caving, heavy rescue, confined space, and rope access techniques are all seen throughout these curriculums.

Our Cadre

Our instructors are industry professionals from all over the realm with decades of experience. Active duty firefighters / paramedics. Current and past tactical SWAT medics. REMs members. USAR, Heavy Rescue, PD, and technicians in all the other life forms of rescue (trench, confined space, rope rescue, and stuck cats). With experience teaching municipal fire departments, SWAT teams, various law enforcement organizations, federal response teams, and various Special Operation forces from the differing branches within SOCOM, Prevail Rescue cadre members will be adept at ensuring the product you are looking for will meet your teams specific needs. Every course is custom tailored to ensure success for the end user.
